Updates to AICP CM Program

The AICP CM reporting period will be ending on December 31, 2021 and a new reporting period will begin on January 1, 2022.  Please remember to log all of your credits, including the required law and ethics credits, before the end of the year to maintain your AICP status.  For those AICP members who still need credits, there are online resources available for members to engage in on-demand learning.  APA provides a wide variety of on-demand educational opportunities (including law and ethics courses) to members through its APA Learn website.

There will also be changes coming to the AICP CM program beginning on January 1, 2022.  In particular, there will be changes to the required CM credits.  The law and ethics credit requirements will be 1.0 each instead of the current 1.5 credit requirement.  In addition, there will be two (2) new required credits – 1.0 for Equity and 1.0 for a targeted topic, which will be Sustainability and Resilience for the next four (4) years.
