Peter Flachsbart Receives National Recognition

Peter Flachsbart, AICP, was one of 16 people chosen nationwide by Marquis Who’s Who for the 2021-2022 Albert Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Marquis Who's Who is a publisher of several directories containing short biographies, such as Who's Who in America. They selected Peter's biography out of 1.5 million entries for this recognition. The announcement appeared in the Business News section of The Wall Street Journal on September 8, 2021. Peter has been a faculty member of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawaii at Manoa since August 1980. He has served continuously as the Professional Development Officer of the APA Hawaii Chapter since 1983.
