Leo Asuncion Jr. Receives Tom and Kristi Dinell Outstanding Alumni Award

The 2022 Tom and Kristi Dinell Outstanding Alumni Award was recently awarded to Leo Asuncion Jr. at the UH Manoa Department of Urban and Regional Planning’s 2022 World Town Planning Day event. This award was established in 2007 and is awarded annually to outstanding planners who have graduated from the Department with a Master’s or PhD degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Awardees have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in our profession that have had major community impacts over an extended period. They will have demonstrated qualities that include a dedication to furthering the public interest, social justice, and broad-based participation in planning.
