Congratulations to our new AICPs!

The APA Hawaii Chapter would like to recognize the following individuals who passed the recent AICP exam and received their certifications. Please join us in congratulating these individuals!

John Padre, MBA, AICP

John Padre has more than 20 years of leadership and technical experience in the markets of renewable energy, sustainable materials management, environmental liabilities, transportation, and information technology. He has served Hawaii as a project manager, planner, and scientist for projects that included the siting and permitting of renewable energy facilities on numerous islands; development of sustainable materials management plans for multiple counties and Guam; rehabilitation of bridges throughout the state; cleanup and revitalization of blighted properties for purposes of TOD, multi-modal transportation, and habitat restoration; and the construction and activation of rail transit. Mr. Padre has also held leadership roles in corporate operations, quality, customer service, and client development. In addition to Hawaii, he continues to serve federal, military, state and municipal, and private clients throughout the continental U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region. John, along with his wife and son, can’t wait to once again travel the world pretending to be foodies. He looks forward to volunteering with art programs and adaptive sports for children with special needs. Sometimes, you can find him on the golf course or throwing some weights around at his garage gym.
