The American Planning Association,
Hawaiʻi Chapter is excited to be partnering with the City and County of
Honolulu, Department of Planning & Permitting to co-sponsor this year’s
conference on September 6-8, 2023 at the Sheraton Waikīkī. This year’s conference, “Turning the Tide,” promises to bring an engaging series of
speakers, panel presentations and discussions, and exciting mobile workshops
that showcase noteworthy planning endeavors on Oʻahu.

REGISTRATION / IMPORTANT DATES
Registration includes an evening reception at the Halekulani, continental breakfasts,
Thursday luncheon, and refreshments.
- Register before May 31 for the early registration fee of $325
- Register between June 1 and July 31 for the general registration fee of $375
- Late registration is $410

MOBILE TOURS
We
have a variety of mobile tours to get you above the ground in
new TOD high rise projects and the Honolulu Rail Transit
system; under the ground in a watershed tunnel; on the
ground with tours of historic Downtown, quick build transportation projects,
or vertical farming; or your hands in the ground with a loʻi
restoration project. Come join us!
AICP CREDITS
AICP credits will be sought for the conference sessions. An AICP Exam Prep with Peter Flachsbart, PhD, AICP will be offered (details TBD).ACCOMMODATION

Call for Student Volunteers!
Current students can sign-up to volunteer at the conference for a minimum of 4 hours and receive FREE conference registration!
