Congratulations to the Newest AICPs

The APA Hawaiʻi Chapter would like to recognize the following individuals who recently passed the AICP exam. These individuals either received their certifications following the exam or will obtain their certification after completing the Planning Experience Assessment and submitting verification of employment and education.

Please join us in congratulating these individuals!

Adam Strubeck, AICP

Through working with government agencies and local non-profit partners, Adam was drawn to urban planning to better understand how communities interact with their environment. He attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, earning a Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree. Adam is an associate at Munekiyo Hiraga, where he applies his wide range of experiences to a variety of projects. Outside of work Adam enjoys spending time at his community garden plot and later cooking up whatever he is able to grow!

Alice Terry McLean, AICP

Alice McLean, AICP, is a planner with SSFM International. Her experience spans coastal resilience planning, conservation, ecosystem restoration, and community engagement. In her current role, she has contributed to adaptation plans in response to sea level rise, compound flooding, and heat; policy analyses for climate adaptation, managed retreat, and land use regulations; and long-range community plans.
